Oakland Community College recommends the Student Secure plan as a health insurance option for International Students studying inside the United States.
It is recommended that students choose the Budget, Select, or Elite level of coverage, as these three levels offer comprehensive coverage from as little as 15 days up to one year, with renewability up to four years in total. This plan works well for all students on a valid F-1 or J-1 visa and offers coverage anywhere outside of your home country.

Student Waivers
If you need to waive your school’s insurance plan, please purchase your policy online, and then submit your waiver form to us at info@internationalstudentinsurance.com. Waivers will be completed within 48 business hours and sent directly to your school.
